I always tell the people I work with that to move past their illness, or emotional issues, they have to be willing to let go of their "Story."  I want to hear their story, because I have to know what we're working on, but I've found it virtually impossible to overcome these things, long term, if their Story is constantly fed and nurtured.  Thoughts and words are things, so if all the client's self talk and their interpersonal conversations are centered around how miserable they are (how sick they are, how bad they feel, how the Universe has used them as it's victim, etc.), that energetically locks the pattern in place.  We can go into Ultra Height® and clear these issues, but if the client keeps their focus on what was, it just recreates it all over and over again.

We often get remarkable results very quickly, but some cases have been ongoing for so long that we have to be persistent and keep chipping away at the layers.  Since Karla and I have a finite amount of time to do sessions, I usually teach these clients EFT (emotional freedom technique), so they can tap the flare-ups down and empower themselves to participate in the healing process.

The people I've had to quit working  with are those who want to have change (and demand it), but don't want to change anything.  We don't have a magic wand and neither does the other side!  You're free will choice is the determinant factor in healing, whether it be physical, or emotional issues.

I do my remote work primarily with Karla who also channels short daily messages, that I edit and send out to a sizeable number of subscribers.  The group she channels, Jovius ( www.jovius.org ), has a large interest in healing and they are always around us.  She and I were talking, via email, about how discouraging it sometimes is to try to do something as simple as getting our healing clients to drink more water.  I was expressing that I find it really frustrating to have someone in stage four cancer tell me that drinking a gallon of water a day is just too inconvenient because she has to pee every hour.  Ugh!!!

So, as we talked back and forth the Jovius group stepped in and offered us some guidance in the following two messages...

It is completely honorable and compassionate to have the desire to assist others in their healing.  It is impossible, however, to heal those who do not take steps to heal themselves.  Self-healing is the only way.  On some level those individuals must be willing to participate in this process in order to heal.   

We applaud you in your efforts to aid in the healing process of others in pain, or somehow disillusioned in their physical bodies, but the only way for them to manifest the changes they would like to experience is to somehow engage in their own healing.  This is a truth and we thank you for your audience and participation.   

Those who do not accept responsibility do not allow, but others who are open and willing absorb the goodness of your hearts and propel themselves closer to who they really want to be.  Accept your generosity as a step in the healing of the whole and do not be discouraged by the few...

There may be some frustration when focusing on the healing of others.  We would like to share with you the importance of working on yourselves.  Accept the fact that the more whole you become, the easier it is to vibrate at a healthier level. 

There are places in your own bodies that hold energy that is not accepting of grace.  We would like to express to you that when you focus on your own healing, you raise the consciousness of those around you as well as those not necessarily physically near, but vibrationally close to you.   

Trust your efforts are not without results.  You may not be consciously aware of the goodness you are creating elsewhere.  Trust that you are making a dent in the universal health of humankind.   

You came from love and you are love.  You are a spark of God and therefore of the light.
